Okonomiyaki!
Okonomiyaki is a savoury Japanese pancake, usually made from cabbage and a selection of meats or seafood. It means ‘as you like it’, and will be cooked on your table. Regions of Japan have their own unique version of Okonomiyaki and we’re pleased to have several available to try!
Can I bring children - it is safe for the whole family?
Yes, absolutely. We are family-friendly, just be careful as the table cooktops are very hot.

In my opinion so far this is the best restaurant I’ve tried in The District Docklands. It helps that this restaurant is actually from Japan. Walking in I felt like I was back in Osaka and eating at one of the Okonomiyaki restaurants. I love that we can sit in front of the hot plate and either cook our own okonomiyaki or have the staff help us cook it. Other dishes also have to be cooked on the hot plate such as fried rice. I love that this place offers both the Osaka and Hiroshima styles of Okonomiyaki. The touch screen system is also handy and the store has the cutest mascot! I’ll definitely be back 😊

Pleasant experience. Friendly staff. Nice decor and ambiance. Kind of pricey for what it is but the pork and seafood okonomiyaki was delicious and the Kobe beef was soft and “melt in your mouth” tender.

Japanese pancake (okonomiyaki) cooked right in front of you, fresh hot and tasty – you can choose to cook it yourself or have the staff help you. Extensive menu both drinks and food. Very friendly service. The restaurant is a chain with many outlets in Japan however this is the first in Australia.

First time visit but not the last! I tried all you can eat, $39 per head. Many amazing selections of foods. Okonomiyaki, pork and seafoods, was the best I have tried in Melbourne. King fish and Salmon tataki salad were my favourites, not mention sushi rolls and prawn tempuras and many more. We finished the wonderful lunch with yummy matcha soft serve ice cream! Will definitely come back.
